Entrepreneurship Development Programme
Arch Academy of Fashion, Art and Design in collaboration with the Department of Science and RK Sansthan Technology, Government of India organized a six-week based Entrepreneurship Development Program on Jewellery Manufacturing and Designing. The students were given intensive training of Jewellery Designing, Jewellery Manufacturing, Gemstone Trade, Export Management, Accounting, Personality Development etc by eminent professors, guest lectures and professionals from the industry during the training programme. The students were awarded certificates on completion of their courses.
Prepaid energy metre
Four final year engineering students of JECRC Heena Sharman, Shweta Jashnani, Surya Sanghi and Sudha Saini have come up with wireless pre-paid energy metre which is run by Bluetooth technology. The prepaid card is an effective medium to control power theft as it can store customer’s details, balance, validity etc. Each customer will be provided with unique ID and only that customer can recharge the card according to his/her needs. The model prepared under the guidance of Tarun Srivastava, director, Tishitu Electronics has three parts including hardware with an LCD screen to display customer details and multimedia card reader. The software is prepared in C language for client and server programming. For networking, Bluetooth technology is used for communication between client and server.
